In 2024, it was upgraded toWTA 250 level tournament and was played on indoorclay courts during the same week asWTA 500 levelPorsche Tennis Grand Prix inStuttgart, Germany. Prior to that, it was played as aWTA 125-level tournament on indoorhard courts, in the month of October. The tournament is staged at the Kindarena in the city ofRouen in France since 2022.[1]
