TheOntario Tower, located inBlackwall in theformer docklands area of east London, is a residential housing block in theNew Providence Wharf development on the north side of theRiver Thames.[1]
It was built by property development companyBallymore[2] and designed by architectsSkidmore, Owings and Merrill.[3][4] The Ontario Tower is a primarily glass and aluminium design. Its roof is sloped, with a blueLED-rimmed elliptical profile.[1]
Construction began in 2004 and was completed in 2006. The tower is 155.55m in height, has 32 floors[1] and 256 apartments.[2]
