Onda Verde (Portuguese for "green wave") is a municipality in the northern part of the state ofSão Paulo,Brazil. The population is 4,422 (2020 est.) in an area of 242.3 km2 (93.6 sq mi).[2] The city belongs to theMicroregion of São José do Rio Preto.
In telecommunications, the city was served byTelecomunicações de São Paulo.[3] In July 1998, this company was acquired by Telefónica, which adopted theVivo brand in 2012. The company is currently an operator of cell phones, fixed lines, internet (fiber optics/4G) and television (satellite and cable).[4]
