On-board toilet of an aircraft (Airbus)

On-board toilets are enclosures equipped with atoilet for the use of humanexcretion, typically mounted within avehicle.

The small rooms also often are equipped with at least asink, liquid soap, andpaper towels forhand washing. Except in luxury versions, toilets of this kind are usually small.

The excreta are stored in a holding tank (whenchemical toilets orvacuum toilets are used) or, on some ships, piped overboard. They are found in largeaircraft,ships includingcrewedspacecraft, someroad vehicles (such asrecreational vehicles,coaches[1]) and manypassenger train cars.
