Olympiacos Handball Club (currently known for sponsorship reasons asOlympiacos S.F.P. / Omilos Xini) is the men'shandball team of the majorGreekmulti-sport clubOlympiacos CFP, based inPiraeus. It was founded initially in 1931 and reorganized in 2017. The department has won 5Greek Handball Championships, 3Greek Cups, 4Greek Super Cups (a record) and has achieved the Double 2 times.

History

In 2017–18 season, which was the first after its reorganization, Olympiacos won the domestic double. They won theGreek Handball Championship by beatingAEK Athens with 3–2 wins in the finals in a dramatic fashion, as they overturned an initial 0–2 win by AEK and took three straight wins to secure the League title.[1] They also won theGreek Cup, beatingPAOK in the semi-final andASE Douka in the final to complete the domestic Double.[2] On 10 September 2022, Olympiacos lifted the Greek Super Cup after winning AESH Pylaia in the final.[3][4]
