Oliver Isak Kass Kawo (Arabic:أوليفر إيساك كاسكاو; born 3 December 2001) is afootballer who plays as amidfielder for clubDalkurd. Born in Sweden, he plays for theSyria national team.
Kass Kawo was born in Sweden to a Syrian father fromAl-Hasakah, and a Swedish mother.[3] He began playing football aged five.[3]
In March 2021, Kass Kawo leftVasalunds IF to joinFC Järfälla.[4] On 1 February 2022, he signed a deal until June 2024 withDanish 1st Division clubFC Helsingør after a trial period.[5]
Having represented Syria internationally atunder-23 level,[1] Kass Kawo made hissenior debut on 30 November 2021, in a2021 FIFA Arab Cup game against theUnited Arab Emirates.[6] He scored his first international goal on 3 December, on his 20th birthday, helping Syria beatTunisia 2–0 in the same competition.[7]
Kass Kawo is a versatileforward capable of playing in multiple offensive positions.[3]
