InGreek mythology,Olenus (/ˈɒlɪnəs/;Ancient Greek: ὬλενοςOlenos) was the name of several individuals:

• Olenus, son ofHephaestus and father ofHelice andAex, two nurses of infantZeus. A city inAulis was named for him.^[1]
• Olenus, son of Zeus andAnaxithea^[2] (orHippodamia^[3]), daughter ofDanaus. He was theeponymous ruler of the cityOlenus inAchaea. Olenus was succeeded byCrinacus (Crineus), another bastard son of Zeus.^[4]
• Olenus, father ofTectaphus, aLapith.^[5]
• Olenus, a man who lived onMount Ida. His wifeLethaea claimed she was more beautiful than any goddess. They were both turned to stone; although Olenus could have avoided this fate, he chose to be with his wife.^[6]
• Olenus, aLelegian, father ofPhoceus. His son was killed by theArgonauts.^[7]
