Oldwick is anunincorporated community andcensus-designated place (CDP)[5] located withinTewksbury Township inHunterdon County, in theU.S. state ofNew Jersey.[6] The area is served asUnited States Postal ServiceZIP Code 08858. As of the2000 United States census, the population forZIP Code Tabulation Area 08858 was 177.[7] The 2010 census data indicate a population of 144,[8] comprising 68 housing units.[9]

Oldwick was formerly known asNew Germantown. It has a mixture ofVictorian,Federal,New England andGeorgian style homes, and is protected by historic legislation. Historic sites within Oldwick include theKline Farmhouse and theOldwick Historic District.

Zion Lutheran Church in Oldwick was the oldestLutheran parish in New Jersey.[10][11]

Oldwick is the corporate headquarters of theA. M. Bestrating agency, and is the location of Mane Stream, formerly the Somerset Hills Handicapped Riding Center foradaptive riding and equine assisted therapy.

On April 5, 2024, Oldwick, alongsideLebanon andTewksbury Township, became epicenters of the2024 New Jersey earthquake, a rare 4.8 magnitude earthquake that shook much of theNortheast United States.[12]
