Oberon is a character appearing in comic books published byDC Comics, primarily in association withMister Miracle. He was created byJack Kirby, and first appeared inMister Miracle #1 (March 1971).[1]

Fictional character biography

Oberon is orphaned as a child after his family is killed in a fire. He later works at a circus under an abusiveringmaster before meetingThaddeus Brown, the first Mister Miracle, and becoming his assistant. After anIntergang operative kills Brown, Oberon works with his successor, theNew God Scott Free.[2]

When Miracle joinsJustice League International, Oberon becomesMaxwell Lord's assistant.[3][4] He also attendsGreen Arrow andBlack Canary's wedding andBlue Beetle's funeral.[5][6]

InMister Miracle (vol. 4), Miracle discovers that Oberon died from cancer some time prior.[7]
