Oak Avenue is a 1.85 hectareLocal Nature Reserve and Grade IISite of Borough Importance for Nature Conservation inHampton in theLondon Borough of Richmond upon Thames. It is owned and managed byRichmond upon Thames Borough Council.[1][2][3]
This site previously hadgreenhouses for local nursery gardens and was re-landscaped by local groups and volunteers.[4] Its habitats include awildflowermeadow, hedges and a pond. Some of the plants are unusual, such as Greek dock andcotton thistle, and there areinvertebrates includingbutterflies.[3]
There is access from Forge Lane and Oak Avenue.[4]
