Om Prakash Verma (20 March 1937 – 8 December 2015) was an Indian politician. He served as the Governor ofPunjab (2003–04), andHaryana (briefly during July 2004), Chief Justice of theKerala High Court and the chairman of theHimachal Pradesh Human Rights Commission. He was born in Garhmukteshwar District,Ghaziabad,Uttar Pradesh. He was also theLokayukta of Himachal Pradesh before being appointed the Punjab governor.[1][2][3]
He studied law at theCampus Law Centre of theFaculty of Law, University of Delhi.[citation needed]
