Nurit Galron (Hebrew:נורית גלרוןHebrew pronunciation:[nuˈʁitgalˈʁon], born March 21, 1951) is an Israeli singer.[1][2][3] She is married to IsraeliTV andradio journalistRafi Reshef [he].
Nurit Galron was born as Nurit Klimburd. Her mother, Leah Sitin, retired from the stage after being a singer in the Jewish Brigade band "Ma'ayan Zahav", founded by director Eliyahu Goldinberg. Her father, Moshe, was a cashier who had been a soldier inAnders' Army, and after losing his wife and child in theHolocaust, preferred, like many other Jews, to desert the army and come to theLand of Israel as an illegal immigrant. She grew up in the Neve Amal neighborhood inHerzliya. She was a member ofHaMahanot HaOlim youth movement.[4][5]
