TheNou Palau Blaugrana will be a multi-sportsindoor arena, located inBarcelona,Catalonia,Spain. The arena will serve as the new home arena for thebasketball (FC Barcelona Bàsquet),handball (FC Barcelona Handbol) andFutsal (FC Barcelona Futsal) sections of themulti-sports clubFC Barcelona.[2] The Nou Palau Blaugrana will have a maximum capacity of 15,000 spectators.[2]
It will be built on the site currently occupied by theMini Estadi, which was demolished in 2020[3] after the construction of theEstadi Johan Cruyff which was completed and inaugurated in 2019.[4] The new arena is expected to be finished by the end of 2027,[5] and will replace the originalPalau Blaugrana, which is across the street and currently serves as the home arena for FC Barcelona'sbasketball,handball, andfutsal teams.
The project is part of theEspai Barça project.
