TheNorwegian Tax Administration (Norwegian:Skatteetaten) is agovernment agency responsible forresident registration (National Population Register) andtax collection inNorway. The agency is subordinate to theMinistry of Finance and is based atHelsfyr inOslo. It is organized in six regional organizations, based inOslo,Skien,Bergen,Trondheim,Mo i Rana andTromsø, in addition to local tax offices.^[1]
