North Yemeni League

TheNorth Yemeni League or theYemen Arab Republic Football League, was the professionalassociation football league held for domesticfootball clubs inNorth Yemen, held between 1978 and 1990.[1] The league folded whenSouth andNorth Yemen unified as one country (Yemen) on 22 May 1990.[2] This resulted in the creation of theYemeni League.[3]

Al-Ahli are the most successful team, with four league titles in the North Yemeni League. TheNorth Yemen Cup of the Republic was the league's domestic cup.
