TheNorth Branch River is an 8.2-mile-long (13.2 km)[1]river in southeasternNew Hampshire in theUnited States. It is atributary of theLamprey River, part of theGreat Bay andPiscataqua Riverwatershed leading to theAtlantic Ocean.
The river begins inBear Brook State Park, inDeerfield, New Hampshire, at the outlet to Beaver Pond. Flowing southeast, it quickly leaves the park, then enters the town ofCandia. It passes underNew Hampshire Route 43 just south of the village of Candia, then reachesNH 27 just before entering the town ofRaymond, where the river ends at the Lamprey River.
