North Ascot is an area ofBracknell Forest in the county ofBerkshire inEngland, with a few acres straddling the town ofAscot in theRoyal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. It lies north of theA329 and west of the A332, adjoining theAscot Racecourse,Heatherwood Hospital and the village ofBurleigh.
North Ascot is largely in thecivil parish ofWinkfield in theborough ofBracknell Forest with a small portion in the civil parish ofSunninghill and Ascot in theRoyal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.
Houses tend to be large late-Victorian orEdwardian, set in generally spacious grounds. The highest concentration is around the perimeter of the course and towardsWindsor Great Park. More modest, recent houses (mostly 1970/80s) can be found on the estate straddled by Gainsborough Drive.
Englemere Pond, aLocal nature reserve that is a designatedSite of Special Scientific Interest, is situated next to North Ascot.[1] Also located near North Ascot isCamberley andWindlesham.
