Nonhar is a village ofRohtas district,Bihar, India. The village has a population of about 5992 of which 3190 are males while 2802 are females as per Population Census 2011.[1] The village is the origin of theThora River, an underground river. Nonhar presents the Indian Social Culture. It is quite a model village. It has a post office, has two temples, two ponds and three private schools.
