Nodales Channel[1] is achannel along the coast ofBritish Columbia,Canada. It is located betweenEast Thurlow Island andSonora Island, in theDiscovery Islands archipelago betweenVancouver Island and themainland coast, north of theSalish Sea.[1]
Nodales Channel connects toCordero Channel andFrederick Arm, to the northeast, and to the junction ofDiscovery Passage andJohnstone Strait, to the southwest.
The channel features Hemming Bay on the northern East Thurlow Island side.[2] Thurston Bay is on the southern Sonora Island side,[3] near a cluster of bays, Binnington Bay, Handfield Bay, and Cameleon Harbour,[4][5][6] in a small inlet connected to Nodales Channel by Burgess Passage and Young Passage.[7][8]
Thurston Bay Marine Park is located on Davis Point, between Thurston Bay and Nodales Channel.[9]
