Nivas Adithan is an Indian actor who has appeared inTamil language films and TV shows. He has notably playedNaanga[1],Taramani,Kaaka Muttai,Chithiram Pesuthadi 2,Radiopetti, andRegina. Nivas is the son of veteran actor and producer Adithan.
Nivas Adithan was born inKaraikal, Puducherry, India, into a family with a background in the film industry; his father, Adithan, was an actor and producer.[2]
He was recommended into acting roles by choreographerKala Master after a performance on the dance showMaanada Mayilada[3] in 2010. Nivas subsequently made his acting debut in Tamil cinema in Selva'sNaanga, playing one of the lead roles.[4]
Nivas also played "behind the scenes" in Ram'sThanga Meenkal. In 2015, he appeared in the critically acclaimedKaaka Muttai (The Crow's Egg)[5]. He also played a supporting role inRadiopetti, which won the KNN Audience award at the2015 Busan International Film Festival[6][7].
