Nitazi orNitalis orNitazo was a town ofancient Cappadocia, inhabited inRoman andByzantine times.[1] It was located on the road betweenMocissus andArchelais. The name appears as Nitazi in theAntonine Itinerary, as Nitazo in theTabula Peutingeriana, and as Nitalis in theJerusalem Itinerary.
Its site is tentatively located nearPınarbaşı (formerly Kabakulak) inOrtaköy district ofAksaray province,Asiatic Turkey.[1][2]
