Nism̓aakqin Marine Provincial Park and Protected Area, formerly known asMaquinna Marine Provincial Park and Protected Area,[2] is aprovincial park inBritish Columbia, Canada, located northwest ofTofino in theClayoquot Sound region of the West Coast ofVancouver Island, protectingRamsay Hot Springs, which is the name-source of the cove, settlement and former post office ofHot Springs Cove.
The Maquinna Marine Park was renamed Nism̓aakqin Park in March 2025.[3] The name Nism̓aakqin (pronouncednis-mock-kin) means “our land that we care for” inNuu-chah-nulth.[4]
