Nimigen Island (previously:Kemisuack,[1]Kemisoke,Kimersok,Kimisoke[2]) is an uninhabitedBaffin Island offshore island located in theArctic Archipelago inNunavut'sQikiqtaaluk Region. It lies inCumberland Sound, approximately 10.5 km (6.5 mi) east ofRobert Peel Inlet[3] To its east isUtsusivik Island; south isChidliak Bay.
In the mid 19th century, the island supported awhaling industry.[1][4]
