Nilo Murtinho Braga, best known asNilo (April 3, 1903 – February 7, 1975)[1] was aBrazilian association footballer who played in theforward striker role. He was born inRio de Janeiro.
During his career (1918–1937) he played forAmérica-RN,Fluminense andBotafogo. He won sixRio de Janeiro State Tournament, four consecutives (1924, 1930, 1932, 1933, 1934, 1935) and for three time winning top goalscorer in 1924, 1927 and 1933. For theBrazilian team, he participated in the1930 FIFA World Cup, playing one match against Yugoslavia.[2]
He died at 71 years old.
