Nikita Baranov (born 19 August 1992) is an Estonian professionalfootballer who plays as acentre-back forMeistriliiga clubPaide Linnameeskond and theEstonia national team.
Baranov began playing football withPuuma's youth teams. He then played forArarat,Elva andWarrior.
In 2010, Baranov signed forFlora. He made his Flora – andMeistriliiga – debut on 14 August 2010, in a 5–0 home victory overLootus. He won his first Meistriliiga title in the2011 season, and his second one in the2015 season.[1][2]
On 15 February 2017, Baranov signed a two-year contract withEliteserien clubKristiansund.[3]
On 26 July 2018, Baranov signed a one-and-a-half-year contract withOBOS-ligaen clubSogndal.[4]
Baranov joinedBeroe in January 2019,[5] but was released in early August 2019.[6]
Baranov joined Armenian clubFC Alashkert in August 2019 with a one-year deal.[7] On 27 July 2020, his contract was ended by mutual consent.[8]
On 20 August 2020 he signed Cypriot top-division clubKarmiotissa and debuted a day later.[9]
In May 2021 he signed for Maltese champions Hamrun Spartans.
Baranov made his senior international debut forEstonia on 11 November 2015, in a 3–0 home victory overGeorgia in afriendly.[10]
