Nigel Anthony Batch (born 9 November 1957) is an English formerfootballer who played in theFootball League forDerby County,Darlington,Grimsby Town,Scunthorpe United andStockport County.[2][3] He wasLincoln City'sgoalkeeper as they won the1987–88 Football Conference title, and a member of Darlington's squad as they won thesame title in 1989–90.[4]
Following his playing career Batch ran the Royal Oak inHolton-le-Clay, and has also worked as an interior designer, painter and decorator.[5]
