Nigel William Atherfold (born 13 June 1963) is a former New Zealandrower.[2]

At the1983 World Rowing Championships atWedau inDuisburg, Germany, he won a gold medal with the New Zealand eight as thebowman.[3] At the1986 World Rowing Championships atNottingham in the United Kingdom, he won a Silver in the men's coxed four withBruce Holden,Greg Johnston,Chris White, andAndrew Bird as cox.[4]
