Nieledew[ɲɛˈlɛdɛf] is avillage in the administrative district ofGmina Trzeszczany, withinHrubieszów County,Lublin Voivodeship, in eastern Poland.[1]
In 1899, a sugar factory was established in Nieledew.[2]
DuringWorld War II, on 26 May 1944, theUkrainian Insurgent Army (UPA) attacked the village. The UPA robbed and burned Polish houses, and massacred either 18 or 23 Polish inhabitants.[3] Three of the victims were shot and the others were burned alive.[3]
