Nicole Eustace is an American historian who won the 2022Pulitzer Prize for History, forCovered with Night: A Story of Murder and Indigenous Justice in Early America[1][2][3] and was a finalist for the 2021National Book Award for Nonfiction.[4]
She graduated from theUniversity of Pennsylvania. She is a professor atNew York University.[5] Eustace was awarded aGuggenheim Fellowship in2025.
