Nicholas Minicucci IV is an Americancollege footballquarterback for theDelaware Fightin' Blue Hens.

Early life

Raised inMidland Park, New Jersey, Minicucci attendedDon Bosco Preparatory High School inRamsey, New Jersey.[1] As a senior, he threw for 2,022 yards and 19 touchdowns while also rushing for 651 yards and eight touchdowns.[2] Following his high school career, he committed to play college football at theUniversity of Delaware.[3]

College career

Minicucci primarily served as a reserve quarterback as a true freshman. Following injuries to Ryan O’Connor and Zach Marker, he was named the Fightin' Blue Hens' starting quarterback againstLafayette in the first round of theFCS playoffs.[4] In his first career start, Minicucci threw for 198 yards, three touchdowns, and three interceptions, leading Delaware to a 36–34 victory.[5] The following season againstCampbell, he threw for 230 yards and accounted for six total touchdowns in a 41–22 win.[6] Minicucci finished his sophomore campaign throwing for 825 yards and ten touchdowns. In the 2025 season opener againstDelaware State, he completed 28 passes for 270 yards and three touchdowns while also rushing for another score off of the bench.[7] Following his performance, he was named the Fightin' Blue Hens starting quarterback moving forward.[8][9]
