Nicholas Francisco Luna (born June 15, 1987) is an American political aide who has served as theWhite House deputy chief of staff for strategic implementation since 2025.
In February 2019, Luna was named asdeputy assistant to the president for operations and apersonal aide to the president. He was named as assistant to the president anddirector of oval office operations in April. Luna remained with Trump after theJanuary 6 Capitol attack and worked for CIC Ventures. In January 2025, Trump named Luna as the White House deputy chief of staff for strategic implementation.

In February 2019, Luna was named asdeputy assistant to the president for operations and apersonal aide to the president.[3] As a personal aide, he was photographed carrying printed materials, including newspapers, forDonald Trump.[4] Luna was named as assistant to the president anddirector of oval office operations in April.[5] By February, Luna had been dating Cassidy Dumbauld, an assistant toJared Kushner;[6] they married in September.[7] That month, he attended a gathering in theWhite House Rose Garden to announceAmy Coney Barrett as Trump's nominee for theSupreme Court seat vacated byRuth Bader Ginsburg. Luna remained in the White House following theJanuary 6 Capitol attack.[8]
In December 2020, Luna was named as a member of theUnited States Holocaust Memorial Council alongsideAndrew Giuliani and Mitch Webber.[9] He was named as a co-director of CIC Ventures alongside John Marion, a Trump lawyer, in 2021; in an interview withThe New York Times, Luna stated that he had not been involved in the company in over a year by December 2022.[10]
Luna—who was present in theOval Office when Trump pressured vice presidentMike Pence to refuse to certify the2020 presidential election—was subpoenaed by theHouse Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol in November 2021, in an effort by the panel to document Trump's actions on the day of the attack.[11]
On January 4, 2025, Trump named Luna as theWhite House deputy chief of staff for strategic implementation.[12]
