James Nicolas Luchey (bornJames Nicolas Williams March 30, 1977) is an American former professionalfootballfullback in theNational Football League (NFL). Luchey was selected by theCincinnati Bengals in the fifth round of the1999 NFL draft out of theUniversity of Miami.[2] He playedhigh school football atHarrison High School in Farmington Hills, Michigan, where he won two state football championships (1993 and 1994) before graduating in 1995. He entered the NFL using the nameNick Williams but changed his surname toLuchey in August 2002 to honor his father and grandfather.
