NextDC (stylized asNEXTDC) is an Australiandata centre operator. Headquartered inBrisbane,Queensland, NextDC is the largest listed developer and operator of data centres in Australia.[1] As of May 2024[update], the company operates 13data centres,[2] with facilities inMelbourne,Sydney,Brisbane,Perth andCanberra.

NextDC was founded byBevan Slattery in May 2010.[3] It has been listed on theAustralian Securities Exchange since December 2010.[4]
In June 2012 Craig Scroggie was appointed chief executive officer.
In 2015, NextDC was named byDeloitte as Australia's fastest growing technology company.[5]
In July 2020, NextDC opened P2, its second data centre in Perth.[2]
In November 2021, NextDC invested around $17 million for a 19.99% stake in AUCloud.[6]
In February 2022, NextDC announced that it will invest more than $100 million to build a data centre onPirie Street,Adelaide.[7]
In April 2024, NextDC announced a $1.32 billion capital raise to accelerate the expansion of its data centre networks in Sydney and Melbourne.[1]
