TheNew York Hakoahs were an Americanbasketball team based inNew York, New York that was a member of theAmerican Basketball League. The Hakoahs were predominantlyJewish and were coached byNat Holman.[1] "Hakoahs" comes from theHebrew word for "strength."[2]
