New York's 21st State Senate district is one of 63 districts in theNew York State Senate. It has been represented byDemocratKevin Parker since 2003.[3]

District 21 covers central and southernBrooklyn. It contains most or all ofBergen Beach,Flatbush,East Flatbush,Flatlands,Georgetown andMill Basin, as well as portions ofMarine Park,Midwood andKensington.

The district overlaps with New York's8th and9th congressional districts, the 41st, 42nd, 44th, 48th, 58th, and 59th districts of theNew York State Assembly and the 39th, 40th, 45th and 46th districts of theNew York City Council.[4]

District 21 is located in centralBrooklyn, incorporating parts ofFlatbush,East Flatbush,Midwood,Ditmas Park,Kensington,Windsor Terrace, andPark Slope.[1][5]

The district overlaps with New York's7th,8th,9th, and10th congressional districts, and with the 41st, 42nd, 43rd, 44th, 51st, 52nd, 57th, 58th, and 59th districts of theNew York State Assembly.[6]
