TheNever Ending Tour is the popular name forBob Dylan 's endless touring schedule since June 7, 1988.[ 1] [ 2]
The tour began with three shows at theHouse of Blues inDallas [ 3] [ 4] before performing in Latin America and South America. Dylan performed three shows in Brazil, including one at theHSBC Arena and two shows atVia Funchal inSão Paulo .[ 5] [ 6]
Bob Dylan in Toronto, Canada After completing theSouth of the South Tour [ 7] Dylan went on a brief tour to the United States and Canada.[ 8] After touring North America Dylan and the band travelled to Europe to perform 30 shows[ 9] including an appearance at Rock In Rio Lisbon andOptimus Alive! .[ 10]
Dylan then returned to the United States to start a summer tour starting inPhiladelphia [ 11] on August 8 and coming to an end on September inSanta Barbara .[ 12] Dylan and the band continued to tour North America throughout the fall of 2008 where the tour finally came to a close on November 21, 2008 at theUnited Palace Theater in New York City[ 13] after 98 concerts.[ 14]
