Neuromancer is an upcoming Americanscience fiction television series created byGraham Roland andJ. D. Dillard forApple TV+. The series serves as an adaptation ofWilliam Gibson's1984 novel. Roland also serves as theshowrunner, and Dillard will direct the pilot episode. The series is set to consist of ten episodes.
Cast and characters
[edit]Apple gave a series order for a television adaptation ofNeuromancer byWilliam Gibson in February 2024. The series was created byGraham Roland andJ. D. Dillard, with Roland acting asshowrunner, and Dillard directing the pilot episode.[3] In February 2024, Apple TV+ announced that it had greenlit the series for 10 episodes.[4] In April,Callum Turner would be cast to star in the series.[5] In June,Briana Middleton joined the cast.[6] In December,Joseph Lee was added to the cast,[7] withMark Strong signing on in January.[8]Clémence Poésy,Emma Laird, andPeter Sarsgaard were also reported as part the cast in March,[1][2][9] withDane DeHaan,Max Irons,André De Shields, andMarc Menchaca are all joining in their recurring roles.[10][11]
Filming began in January 2025 on location inTokyo.[12][2]
By August 2025,Paramount Television Studios had taken over production of the series following the merger ofSkydance Television's parent companySkydance Media withParamount Global intoParamount Skydance.[13]
