Nelson Alexander Deossa Suárez (born 6 February 2000) is a Colombian professionalfootballer who plays as acentral midfielder forLa Liga clubReal Betis.[2]
Deossa made his debut forAtlético Huila on 25 January 2021, as a substitute againstBogotá FC in theCategoría Primera B.[3] His first start was againstLa Equidad, on 28 September 2021 in the aCategoría Primera A.[4] On 22 January 2022, Deossa joined Argentine clubEstudiantes, on a one-year loan.[5] On 9 July 2022, after terminating his contract with the Argentine club, he returned to Colombia and joinedJunior on loan.[6] On 24 January 2023, he joinedAtlético Nacional on loan, with an option to buy.[7]
On 29 December 2023,Liga MX clubPachuca announced the permanent signing of Deossa.[8][9] He was part of the side that won the2024 CONCACAF Champions Cup, playing the whole game as Pachuca beatColumbus Crew 3–0.[10]
On 9 January 2025, Deossa joined fellow Liga MX clubMonterrey, signing a four-year contract.[11]
On 4 August 2025,Real Betis and Monterrey reached an agreement for the transfer of Deossa.[12]
