Neda is a municipality inprovince of A Coruña in theautonomous community ofGalicia in northwesternSpain.
The town is on theEnglish Way path of theCamino de Santiago. It is said that the father ofGeorge A. Romero was born here.
The municipality is home to four parishes:
Neda is a predominantly rural borough, though important industries like shipyards, foundries, and workshops are to be found in nearbyFerrol. Farming, agriculture and services, together with bread making, are the main local industries.
