Nebtuwi is anancient Egyptian goddess personifying fertility, wife ofKhnum. Her name translates as "the lady of the fields." The cult centre of her wasLatopolis (also known asEsna). Functions of Nebtuwi were close to the functions of goddesses likeIsis andHathor. Subsequently, Nebtuwi's cult was gradually relegated to the cult ofNeith.[2] She was depicted as a lady with avulture cap similar to the goddessMut.[3]
