Ancient town in Pisidia

Neapolis (Ancient Greek:Νεάπολις) was a town inancient Pisidia, a few miles south ofAntioch.[1][2]Pliny mentions it as a town of the Roman province ofGalatia, which embraced a portion of Pisidia.[3] It became a bishopric; no longer the seat of a residential bishop, it remains, under the name ofNeapolis in Pisidia, atitular see of theRoman Catholic Church.[4]

Its site is located near the modernKıyakdede,Asiatic Turkey.[5][6]
