Ndombe (Dombe) is aBantu language ofAngola. It was assigned by Guthrie to Bantu group R.10, which apart fromUmbundu Pfouts (2003) established as part of theKavango–Southwest branch of Bantu.[3] Though not specifically addressed, Ndombe may be in that branch as well.

There is no standard form of Ndombe,[4] nor an establishedwriting system.[5]
