Nature Medicine is a monthlypeer-reviewedmedical journal published byNature Portfolio covering all aspects ofmedicine. It was established in 1995. The journal seeks to publish research papers that "demonstrate novel insight into disease processes, with direct evidence of thephysiological relevance of the results".[1]Nature Medicine also publishes reviews, perspectives and other content commissioned from leading scientists in their fields[2]. As with otherNature journals, there is no externaleditorial board, with editorial decisions being made by an in-house team, althoughpeer review by external expert referees forms a part of the review process.
