Nattaporn Namkanha (Thai:ณัฐพล นามกัณหา, born 15 September 1971) is a retiredThailong jumper andtriple jumper who was a mainstay on the continental level.
In the triple jump he finished eighth at the1998 Asian Championships, won the bronze medal at the1998 Asian Games, won the gold medal at the2000 Asian Championships, finished seventh at the2002 Asian Championships, eighth at the2002 Asian Games, eighth at the2003 Asian Championships, eighth at the2005 Asian Championships,[1] fourth at the2005 Asian Indoor Games[citation needed] and fourth at the2006 Asian Indoor Championships.[1] On the regional scene he won the gold medal at the1999,2001 and2003 Southeast Asian Games.[2]
His personal best jump is 16.66 metres, achieved in May 2002 inBangkok.[1] This is theThai record.
In the long jump he finished tenth at the1998 Asian Games,[citation needed] seventh at the1998 Asian Championships and fifth at the2000 Athletics Championships.[1] He also competed at the2003 Asian Championships without reaching the final.[citation needed] On the regional scene he won the gold medal at the2001 and2003 Southeast Asian Games.[2]
His personal best jump is 7.87 metres, achieved in May 1998 inKaoshiung.[1]
