TheAlbanian State Road 2 (SH2), (Albanian:Rruga Shteterore 2) is a dual carriageway inAlbania linking the port city ofDurrës with the metropolis and the capitalTirana.[1] The road was the first highway to be reconstructed in Albania, following theFall of Communism in 1991.
The National Road SH2 begins at thePort of Durrës inDurrës, at the Dajlani Overpass (Albanian: Ura e Dajlanit), bypassesShijak, intersects with SH52 inVorë, bypasses the road toTirana International Airport, and ends at the Kamza Overpass (Albanian: Mbikalimi i Kamzës) in the outskirts ofTirana where it meetsNational Road SH1 heading to northern Albania. Once enteringTirana, the highway becomes the street namedRruga 29 Nëntori.
