National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology (NKUST;Chinese:國立高雄科技大學;pinyin:Guólì Gāoxióng Kējì Dàxué;Pe̍h-ōe-jī:Kok-li̍p Ko-hiông Kho-ki-tai-ha̍k) is auniversity located inKaohsiung,Taiwan.
NKUST offers undergraduate and graduate programs in various fields such as engineering, business, management, design, humanities, and social sciences.
NKUST has a number of research centers and institutes such as the center forPhotonics andOptoelectronic Materials, the Institute of Biomedical Engineering, and the Institute ofPolymer Science and Engineering.
The university was formed in 2018 by a merger of theNational Kaohsiung First University of Science and Technology (NKFUST), theNational Kaohsiung University of Applied Sciences (KUAS) and theNational Kaohsiung Marine University (NKMU).[1]
