National Highway 966 (NH 966) is a highway which connectsPalakkad,Malappuram andKozhikode district headquarters inKerala. It was previously known asNH 213. It covers a distance of 125 km. At Ramanattukara, near Kozhikode, it joinsNH 66. At Palakkad it joinsNH 544, which connectsCoimbatore andCochin through Palakkad. ThePalakkad–Malappuram–Kozhikode Greenfield Highway has been proposed in order to decongest the traffic on NH 966 and reduce travelling time between Kozhikode and Palakkad.
Kozhikode -Ramanattukara -Kondotty -Valluvambram -Pookottur-Malappuram-Makkaraparamba -Angadipuram -Perinthalmanna -Mannarkkad -Mundur -Palakkad.
