National Highway 8 (NH 8) is aNational Highway in India running fromKarimganj in Assam toSabroom in Tripura.[1] It ends atMaitri Setu, a bridge which connects toRamgarh inChittagong, Bangladesh.
It is not to be confused with former NH 8 (Delhi-Jaipur-Baroda-Bombay), which has been renumberedNH 48. The highway is being constructed and maintained by theNational Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL).
