TheNational Athletics Centre (Hungarian:Nemzeti Atlétikai Központ,pronounced[ˈnɛmzɛtiˈɒtleːtikɒjiˈkøspont]) is a track and field stadium inBudapest,Hungary. It has held the2023 World Athletics Championships. The stadium was built on the eastern bank of theDanube River south of centralBudapest, with a capacity of 36,000 for the championships, which will be reduced to 14,000 for future events.[4][5][6]
