Nathon Irvin[1] (born 31 January 1973) is a formerAustralian rules footballer who played with theSydney Swans in theAustralian Football League (AFL).
Irvin came to Sydney fromMangoplah, nearWagga Wagga.[2] A defender, he played just one senior AFL game for the Swans, againstHawthorn in round two of the1993 AFL season.[3] In the1994 National Draft he was secured byFootscray, but he would not make any league appearances for the club.[4]
He played for threeSouth Australian National Football League clubs, firstNorwood, followed bySturt and thenGlenelg. In 2003, he joined the Wagga Tigers, which he would both captain and coach from 2003 to 2005.[5]
Irvin later coachedMangoplah from 2012 to 2014 and again in 2016.
